A Golf Course Masterpiece...with a southern personality. Named for the red tail hawks that can be spotted around the course, Red Tail is a natural beauty. Spanning over 400 thoughtfully planned acres in the city of Avon, the once flat farmland has been sculpted into a magnificent course that has earned rave reviews from players all over the country. The back nine holes officially opened for play in the fall of 1999, while the 2000 golf season marked the first season all eighteen holes could be played.
Living Well...among the stylish settings of a new clubhouse. Since its grand opening in May 2001, the Red Tail clubhouse has played host to all aspects of leisure. Whether there's an interest in dining-indoor or outdoors, shopping in the Pro Shop, keeping fit in the fitness center, or relaxing in the locker rooms, the 20,000 square foot clubhouse provides a most memorable experience.

Pro Shop…Offering a wide variety of traditional and trendy apparel for ladies, men, and juniors. Logo merchandise, golf accessories such as bags, motorized pull carts, balls, gloves, hats, and custom fit golf clubs are some of the many items that come with professional, knowledgeable service.
Fitness Room…A well rounded array of exercise equipment to foster healthy living. Various pieces of equipment lend themselves to golf conditioning to keep the golf game sharp. Convenient, easily accessible, and generous hours of operation make this the place to frequent.
Locker Rooms…complete with shoe service to end your day of golf. Optional locker rental to keep your personal belongings conveniently close at hand.
Swimming and Tennis…The junior sized Olympic, 25 meter heated swimming pool and children’s pool are a perfect getaway for those hot summer days. Built and opened in the summer of 2001, these refreshing amenities, as well as the tennis courts, complete the picture.
Opportunities are readily available for swimming and tennis lessons, private or camps. Children will be busy all summer by taking advantage of these professionally run instruction sessions.
To serve the membership while they are relaxing outdoors, a Cabana is situated between the pool and the tennis courts. Food service, lockers, and showers are there for the membership.
